Arrival on Ice

I made it!  It was mostly smooth flying today, a wee bit bumpy on the way down to McMurdo on the C-17.  I was hoping to get a photo of the view as I was actually stepping out of the plane, but alas, the force of the mob behind me was too great and I couldn't stop to take a photo.  So, after I stepped onto the ice, here's what I saw:
